## About Saydrop

Saydrop is a macOS menu-bar app for hands-free dictation on Apple Silicon. Double-tap a hotkey to record, transcribe on-device with Whisper medium (default), optionally clean up the result with local Gemma or cloud Gemini to remove fillers and punctuate, then paste into whichever app you're in. Transcription and cleanup both run offline by default; no account required, no data leaves your Mac unless you opt in.
